Take A Look Back At Lady Antebellum's Visit To DIS

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Lady Antebellum, American of Country Music’s Top New Vocal Group, performed a pre-race concert and sang the National Anthem before the 50th annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola on the Independence Day holiday weekend at historic Daytona International Speedway.

The group, made up of Hilary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, enjoyed their first NASCAR race and NASCAR’s most prestigious venue Daytona International Speedway.

“This is a big moment for us,” Kelley said. “This will be the biggest crowd we’ve ever played in front of, so we’re excited and a little bit nervous; I’m not going to lie.”

“Those stands are pretty intimidating,” Scott said. “We were doing a sound check and standing on the stage and looking down and all you see are seats for a mile. We’re really excited to be here. We had the opportunity to do some amazing things, but this probably goes straight to the top of the list for us.”

The band has had a busy year touring with some of the top names in the business and having their self-titled album debut No. 1 on Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Now you can take a look back at their exciting weekend at “The World Center of Racing” in their Webisode Wednesday on their website. Click to watch here.
