– Sister Hazel will perform the National Anthem at the 30th annual Budweiser Shootout at historic Daytona International Speedway on Saturday night, Feb. 9.
In addition to National Anthem, which will be televised live nationally by FOX Sports, Sister Hazel will also perform three songs during pre-race ceremonies as well as a 60-minute post-race concert from the Entertainment Stage inside the Sprint FANZONE next to the Budweiser Bistro.
Sprint FANZONE and hospitality passes will permit fans to view the pre-race concert from the tri-oval area along pit road and all Budweiser Shootout ticket holders will be able to attend Sister Hazel’s post-race concert.
“We’re thrilled to add Sister Hazel’s performance to an already star-studded night of NASCAR racing,” Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig said. “Sister Hazel will delight race fans before and after the Budweiser Shootout and are another reason race fans will want to witness this premier All-Star event in person.”
The five-member American rock band formed in Gainesville, Fla. Powered by their No. 1 hit single “All For You”, their 1997 album “Somewhere More Familiar” was placed among the top-200 best-selling albums. The band also recently released a b-sides disc, “BAM!,” and a holiday album, “Santa’s Playlist,” and they will be hitting store shelves this summer with a live acoustic album.
