DIS Putting Dads On The Waters Of Lake Lloyd

           DAYTONA BEACH , Fla. (May 28, 2009) – Grabbing the rod and reel with your son or daughter is one of the traditional ways of enjoying Father’s Day.
           Fishing with your father on Father’s Day on the legendary waters of Lake Lloyd with Daytona International Speedway in the background is taking the holiday to a new level.
            Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR’s most prestigious track, is offering a unique way to spend Father’s Day – fishing on the 29-acre Lake Lloyd located inside “The World Center of Racing” in the inaugural Father’s Day fishing tournament. 
           Between 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 21, fathers and their sons and daughters of all generations will have the opportunity to fish the waters of Lake Lloyd and win prizes for the biggest catch. 
           “Lake Lloyd is one of the icons of Daytona International Speedway,” Track President Robin Braig said. “Being able to drop a line into Lake Lloyd surrounded by the history of this great facility will make for a memorable Father’s Day.”

           A dmission for the inaugural Father’s Day fishing tournament at DIS is $34 for adults and $29 for children age 6-12 and includes a Daytona 500 Experience Motorsports attraction ticket. Children 5 and under are free.
