DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Tickets are on sale now for the Roar Before The Rolex 24, the annual three-day test session on Jan. 8-10 at Daytona International Speedway and the ultimate preview for America’s most prestigious sports car event – the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
The massive test session will feature competitors from both the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and the KONI Challenge Series shaking down their machines in advance of the Rolex 24 At Daytona Weekend on Jan. 28-31.
The Rolex Series teams are prepping for the 48th anniversary of the Rolex 24 on Jan. 30-31, the ultimate test of driver and machine and America’s only 24-hour sports car race while the KONI Challenge Series will prepare for the Fresh From Florida 200 on Friday, Jan. 29.
Tickets, which are $10, are available online at http://www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP and will put race fans up close to the teams and drivers with access to the infield, Sprint FANZONE and garage.
On Saturday, Jan. 9, the Roar Before The Rolex 24 will have a flurry of fan-related events such as:

· Photo opportunities in Gatorade Victory Lane
· Interactive fan forums
· Pit stop demonstration
The Rolex 24, which in 2009 delivered the closest finish in event history, attracts a star-studded driver lineup from all racing disciplines around the world.
Drivers who competed in the 2009 edition of the Rolex 24 included NASCAR stars Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch and Juan Pablo Montoya, IndyCar stars Dario Franchitti, Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon, Buddy Rice and Danica Patrick and sports car veterans David Donohue, Darren Law, Max Angelelli, Hurley Haywood, Scott Pruett, Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney.
The event also produces a festival atmosphere with plenty of activities for fans to experience such as a massive driver autograph session, wine and cheese tasting, Chili Cook-Off, the Daytona 5K run/walk and Uncle Robbie’s Breakfast Garage.
