DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – In order to ensure that hundreds of families in the Central Florida community can enjoy the upcoming holiday season, Daytona International Speedway is encouraging race fans to visit the “World Center of Racing” and donate canned food and toys with a special track tour promotion.
Between Nov. 5 – Dec. 10, guests that bring in four or more canned goods or a new toy to the Daytona International Speedway Tours and Ticket Office will receive a free 30-minute Speedway Tour with the purchase of a tour admission.
In addition, the Speedway will once again join forces with the Orlando NBC television affiliate WESH Ch. 2 for the station’s annual “Share Your Christmas” food drive.
On Monday, Dec. 10, the Speedway will serve as a live location for the station’s “Share Your Christmas” food drive with all the non-perishable food gathered from the food drive benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank.
The Speedway has three separate tours throughout the year that take race fans inside the hallowed grounds of NASCAR’s marquee race track.
The 90-minute All Access tour, which runs daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., allows fans to view never-before-seen areas including the Daytona 500 Club, the Sprint Tower, the driver’s meeting room and the NASCAR Sprint Cup garages, in addition to Gatorade Victory Lane and the Sprint FANZONE, which are included in the 30-minute Speedway Tour.
A special VIP three-hour tour is also available and includes a stroll through Daytona’s history inside International Speedway Corporation’s Archives, featuring artifacts, past champion trophies, historic images and more.
