Daytona International Speedway to host 2014 Sports Career Summit on June 11
Those interested in a career within the sports industry will have a unique opportunity to tour the “World Center of Racing” on Wednesday, June 11 as well as hear from three top Florida sports executives in the 2014 Sports Career Summit.
The special day-long program will provide information and knowledge on how to break into the sports industry and the chance to network with sports executives, directors and managers.
Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III, Jacksonville Jaguars Vice President of Communications Dan Edwards and Orlando City Soccer Club Owner/President Phil Rawlins will have presentations and Orlando Sentinel sports columnist and sports radio host Mike Bianchi will serve as the event emcee.
Other 2014 Sports Career Summit highlights include:
- Facility tour and “hot laps” around the 2.5-mile superspeedway for the first 100 registered
- Two tickets for each participant to the 56th annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday night, July 5
