Daytona International Speedway, home to NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious race the DAYTONA 500, will host its NASCAR Day celebration on Friday, May 16.
The event will help spread awareness of The NASCAR Foundation and its mission to ensure children can focus on learning by addressing their medical needs. All proceeds from the celebration at the “World Center of Racing” will stay in the local community and benefit The NASCAR Foundation’s Speediatrics unit at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach.
Between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Daytona International Speedway will celebrate NASCAR Day in front of the Ticket and Tours Office with lunch specials, raffle prizes and music. In addition, OneBlood will host a blood drive on-site from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Lunch combos will be available for $3 and raffle tickets are $1 with prizes available such as:
- Richard Petty Driving Experience ride-along package
- Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola tickets and Pre-Race/Sprint FANZONE passes
- Accommodations at area hotels
- Autographed items including a DAYTONA 500 Champion jacket signed by 2014 DAYTONA 500 champion Dale Earnhardt Jr.
- LEGOLAND tickets
- Round of golf on The Players Stadium Course and Dye’s Valley course at TPC Sawgrass including hotel accommodations
The NASCAR Foundation pins and wristbands will be available for a donation.
