Defending champions of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi will headline Daytona International Speedway’s second annual Race Camp, scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 between 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Kids between the ages 6-12 will be able to spend a fun-filled summer day at the “World Center of Racing” doing a number of activities including:
- Track tour
- Sign the start/finish line
- Obstacle course
- Photo in Gatorade Victory Lane
- Up close look at a NASCAR stock car and a Daytona Prototype
- Safety demonstration
In addition, Barbosa and Fittipaldi, who share the driving duties on the No. 5 Mustang Sampling Corvette DP for Action Express Racing and are both two-time Rolex 24 At Daytona champions, will be special guests at the Race Camp.
Also included in the Race Camp will be two tickets for 2016 Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 30-31, America’s most prestigious sports car race (two-day grandstand only).
