As a fan, you’re really not experiencing the Rolex 24 if you don’t take advantage of all of the entertainment and activities in Sprint FANZONE. In addition to being located between the garages, Gatorade Victory Lane and Pit Road, Sprint FANZONE packs a week’s worth of excitement into one memorable weekend of action. Access is free with your infield admission ticket, so be sure to check the schedule and try to plan what you’d like to do ahead of time, because there’s truly so much to see and do in Sprint FANZONE.

Before the Race:

If you’re looking to add to a hard-earned autograph collection, Sprint FANZONE gives you the best opportunity to get up close and personal with your favorite drivers, providing unprecedented access to drivers for autographs at the race. For this event, if you set out to see someone and get their autograph, you will most likely be able to make it happen. If you miss someone, be sure to stick around and you’ll see drivers walking through all the time. If you do nothing else while you’re here for the weekend, be sure to participate in the pre-race fan walk on Saturday. Make sure you’re in the Sprint FANZONE area a couple hours early, before the gates are opened and you are allowed onto the grid for the fan walk. This is a must-do for first-timers and veterans alike as you will be able to walk up to the cars and drivers to take photos and get autographs. You can even step out on to the track and climb the steep 18 degree frontstretch. Once you do, you will never look at it the same way again.

During the race:

The Bavarian Beer Garden is a terrific, reasonably-priced option if you’re looking to relax with some musical entertainment and authentic craft beers. The music in Sprint FANZONE is annually very good, at least until it’s time for always-entertaining karaoke. Sprint FANZONE also presents you with several opportunities to get your fill on exclusive food options with the annual Wine & Cheese Party and the Café 24 Breakfast Garage. If you’re in need of fresh, updated merchandise and memorabilia, the Last Lap store is the place to go. You’ll find a widest collection of official Rolex 24 At DAYTONA and Daytona International Speedway merchandise. The Rolex 24 Heritage Exhibition allows you to take a walk through history as you examine row after row of vintage cars, all of which raced here at DAYTONA. It’s amazing to take a firsthand look into the history and progress of the sport through the decades. Next to the Rolex 24 Heritage Exhibition you’ll see a row of windows that allow you to look into the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship garage area. You can even go on top of this garage area and see around much of the track as well as down on the garage and hauler area, where there’s always buzzing with activity. If you want to get into the garage, add garage access to your race admission. Check the schedule and pick out what’s interesting to you. There’s certainly lot more than what’s been mentioned here, but it’s safe to say that no Rolex 24 experience is complete without a trip throughout Sprint FANZONE.
