Check out a few of our favorite fan photos from Speedweeks 2016.

2016 Speedweeks began of new era in racing as the World’s First Motorsports Stadium opened its gates to NASCAR action for the first time. From the morning of the Sprint Unlimited to the checkered flag at a sold-out DAYTONA 500, the closest finish in history, fans spent the better part of two weeks exploring the new Daytona International Speedway.

From first-timers to DAYTONA veterans, there was something exciting to explore for everyone. Fans discovered the expanded Midway complete with DAYTONA’s new injector partner activations, rode on one of 40 escalators and relaxed in one of 11 football field-sized neighborhoods, before settling in among 101,500 new stadium seats to enjoy unprecedented sightlines available during the racing action.

We asked fans to send in their favorites photos from the memorable trip and highlighted a few of our favorites below.
