Luke Bryan

Bryan has been the recipient of the Entertainer of the Year award from both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association (CMA). Overall, he’s received eight awards between the two organizations, with 19 total nominations.

Since 2005, Jason Aldean has released six albums and 24 singles. In 2006, "Amarillo Sky" earned ACM nominations for Song of the Year and Video of the Year and Aldean was named ACM's "Top New Male Vocalist." Since then, he’s received four Grammy nods and won a combined 10 awards from the ACM and CMA. His 2014 album, "Old Boots, New Dirt," went platinum with three No. 1 songs on the country charts, including "Burnin' It Down" and "Tonight Looks Good On You."

The youngest performers have made quite a name for themselves in short order with a combined total of nine ACM and CMA awards. In fact, they’ve won Vocal Duo of the Year at the past two ACM Awards and past three CMA Awards. In 2015, their hit single "Cruise" became the first country song to earn the highly-coveted certification of Digital Diamond.

Lady Antebellum

The trio of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood began their career by being named the CMA New Artist of the Year in 2008. They’ve since accumulated 52 awards, including eight Grammy Awards and 11 Grammy nominations. At the 2010 CMA's, the group became the first artist in CMA Award history to receive the Single of the Year honor for two consecutive years.


Willie Nelson

A country music legend, Nelson blazed the trail for every act at the Country 500. Since his first album release in 1962, he has produced award-winning music at an astounding rate. The Country Music Hall of Famer's catalog is quite prolific, with more than 60 studio albums, for which he's won seven Grammy Awards. Songs like "On the Road Again" and "Always On My Mind" remain some of the most beloved songs in the country music canon.

Little Big Town

One of the most prolific records on this list belongs to Little Big Town. Overall, only Dwight Yoakam, Willie Nelson and Lady Antebellum have more Grammy wins (two) and Grammy nominations (nine), among Country 500 artists. They lead all Country 500 artists with 22 ACM Awards nominations and 22 CMA nominations. In fact, no other Country 500 artist has more than 18 with either association.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush (Sugarland)

While these two are performing individually at the Country 500, they won several awards together as members of the country music duo Sugarland. Sugarland has been nominated for 69 major music awards, winning 18 of them. Although they have two Grammy wins in five nominations, they have found the most success at the CMA Awards where they have six wins over 17 nominations. Their single "Stay won two Grammy's for Best Country Song and Best Country Performance by a Duo. Both have found individual success since pursuing solo careers. "Trailer Hitch", the lead single from his 2015 album "Southern Gravity," was critically acclaimed. Expect plenty of new music from Nettles as  her second studio album as a solo artist was released on May 13, 2016.

Dwight Yoakam

With two Grammys and a staggering 21 Grammy nominations, Yoakam is one of the most highly respected country artists of his era. Overall, he has won both ACM and CMA awards, with a combined 20 nominations between the two.


Montgomery Gentry 

Montgomery Gentry has been considered one of country music's top groups for over 15 years. In 1999, they were awarded Favorite New Artist—Country at the American Music Awards. Both the ACM and CMA named them Duo of the Year in 2000, an award for which they were nominated by both associations for every year until 2009. They've continued their success throughout the decade with a Grammy nomination in 2008 for Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for their song “Lucky Man" and a top 15 chart position for their 2015 album "Folks Like Us."


Chris Stapleton

With just one studio album, Chris Stapleton has already received unprecedented accolades for his work over the last two years. The release of his debut studio album “Traveller” reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 and has sold 1.2 million copies domestically. Stapleton won the 2015 CMA awards for Best Male Vocalist, New Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. He added to his trophy case in 2016 receiving four Grammy Award nominations, with wins for Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance.
