Jimmie Johnson made his mark in the storied history of the Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola as his 2013 victory put him in rare territory. The six-time Sprint Cup Series champion became the first driver in 31 years to win both the DAYTONA 500 and Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola in the same year. Johnson was dominant in leading 94 of 161 laps driving a No. 48 Chevrolet SS nicknamed "White Lightning".
In 14 career attempts in the event, he’s posted one win, four top fives and seven tops tens. Only Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch have posted as many top five finishes as Johnson (two) since 2013.
At the 2016 Coke Zero 400, Johnson will look to finish in the top two for the third time in his last four appearances in the Independence Day Weekend Classic.
