With the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA mere weeks away and the excitement building, we asked you on Twitter and Facebook whether you had any questions about North America's most prestigious sports car race. We received a number of questions and included answers to several below.
I cannot wait! This will be my first Rolex 24 and first visit to DIS!
1). How long is the autograph session...for real?
The autograph session will be 45 minutes on Saturday, January 28 from 12 pm to 12:45 pm.
2). What is there to do at the track during the evening when all the action is over?
There’s plenty to do, but first, we should clear something up. The action is 24 hours so it’ll run all night on Saturday. If, however, you’re looking to some off-track programming to entertain yourself with while the race is going on, we have plenty of things to do. To name a few, we have a driver autograph session, live music & karaoke, a wine & cheese party, carnival rides available all weekend long and much more! You can check out a more complete list with our Top Things to Do at the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA.
What access do you get with a garage pass that you do not get with a 4 days pass? I have been to other IMSA events at other tracks and admission always included garage assess, grid walk, and autograph session, pretty much full access all areas.
The 4-day wristbands include the daily garage and UNOH Fanzone access. If you don’t have a 4-day wristband, that’s when you’d purchase garage access addition if you wanted to take advantage of the exclusive opportunity to go behind the scenes. We highly recommend upgrading to include this experience if you don’t have a 4-day wristband as it allows you to take an up-close look at your favorite cars as they prepare for the ultimate 24-hour challenge! Access starts at just $10, with two-day (Sat/Sun) access available for only $45.
How do you get around the infield and to the stadium during the race?
Once at DAYTONA, a tram stop is conveniently located at the Lot 1 Tram Plaza to make moving around the Speedway as easy as possible. If you’re headed to the infield, keep an eye out for the Infield Fan Shuttle which can help you move around the infield. The tram and shuttle routes are marked on the event maps in yellow and blue, respectively.
From Turn 1 Tram Plaza
The ideal way to access UNOH Fanzone is through the Lot 1 Tram Plaza, located near the Florida Hospital gate. The UNOH Fanzone at this plaza provides a direct route to and from UNOH Fanzone daily.
From Turn 4
Area Guests near the Turn 4 tunnel can access UNOH Fanzone by walking through the Turn 4 tunnel. Once through the tunnel, you will find an Infield Shuttle Bus pick-up/drop-off location on the right by the Information Booth. After boarding the shuttle, you will be dropped off near the entrance to UNOH Fanzone.

@TommyBertram Will fans be able to sit in the stadium for the whole 24 hours?
The stadium opens at 9 am on Saturday morning and will be open for the entire 24-hours of race action. The stadium makes for a terrific place to watch the race action with truly spectacular sightlines both day and night.
