No experience in motorsports connects you with the action quite like UNOH Fanzone/pre-race access at DAYTONA. Current stars, past legends, live music and diehard fans collide in this sprawling entertainment space that sits in the heart of the “World Center of Racing!”
Dress for success
You’ll be outdoors throughout your time in UNOH Fanzone and, with so much to see and do, you don’t want your clothing choices slowing you down. This is the Sunshine State so you’ll definitely attract some rays throughout the day. While it’s a good opportunity to work on your tan, make sure you keep your skin protected by bringing along sunscreen, hats and sunglasses. In addition, prepare for the unpredictability of July at DAYTONA. We recommend you bring ponchos or a rain jacket just in case weather takes a turn.
Be sure to make race day a family affair as children 12 and under are FREE in the UNOH Fanzone throughout the weekend (daily adult admission ticket required). Inside UNOH Fanzone is the Kids Area, where kids can enjoy activities including inflatables, interesting historical displays and much more!
Create a custom schedule using the DIS Mobile App
With everything from driver appearances, historic displays, autograph sessions, access to pre-race concert, driver introductions and much more, UNOH Fanzone will be the hub for your race weekend entertainment. However, many of them are extremely time-sensitive and, in order to get the most out of your UNOH Fanzone wristband, you should plan out exactly how you’d like to fit everything in.
To help you plan out your day, we recommended that you download the Daytona International Speedway Mobile App! The app allows you to create customizable daily schedules, and we'll send you push notifications throughout the day to keep you updated on all of the event happenings that interest you.
You'll have plenty of opportunity to get close to your favorite drivers, but for the best chance to get an autograph, you'll want to plan on arriving early to the two autograph sessions taking place under the FPL Solar Patio inside UNOH Fanzone.
On Friday, July 5 from 4:45pm-5:30pm catch your favorite NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers just before they head out for the Circle K Firecracker 250 Powered by Coca-Cola. On Saturday, July 6 from 3:45pm-4:15pm, meet two true American heroes in Medal of Honor recipients Gary Littrell and Ronald Shurer.
Sign up early for guided garage tours
On Friday and Saturday of Coke Zero Sugar 400 weekend, free 30-minute guided garage tours will be given for fans that sign up ahead of time. Tours are not guaranteed with your UNOH Fanzone wristband. Once you enter UNOH Fanzone, head over to the FPL Solar Patio to see if there are any available tours left. It’s first-come, first-serve and your entire party must be present to sign up, so if you want a chance to take a tour, make this a top priority. Kids must be 18 years or older to participate.
Signups will be first-come, first-serve while supplies last at the Guest Services Booth inside UNOH Fanzone when UNOH Fanzone gates open on 12pm on Friday, July 5 and 2:30pm on Saturday, July 6.
NASCAR Open Garage
New this year is the NASCAR Open Garage on Friday, July 5! Explore the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series garages as the teams ratchet up the intensity and prepare for green flag! Just like the guided garage tours, wristband distribution will be located inside the UNOH Fanzone at the NASCAR Tent under the FPL Solar Patio from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm or until all wristbands have been distributed. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Open Garage is on Friday, July 5, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. NASCAR Xfinity Series Open Garage is on Friday, July 5, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
Take advantage of pre-race festivities!
The pre-race track walk is a tradition unmatched by any in sport. Leave your mark on Daytona International Speedway by signing the start/finish line and walk on the same asphalt that will soon crown another DAYTONA champion.
Witness the patriotism and pageantry of pre-race as Medal of Honor recipients are recognized and the drivers are introduced just before green flag!
