Exiting After The Race Go To US 1
After the race, for the fastest and least congested routes north, south and west of the Speedway, the Police Department and Highway Patrol suggest that you access Interstate 95 or Interstate 4 by going east from the Speedway to U.S. 1. From U.S. 1 you can access I-95 or I-4 as follows:
-
U.S. 1 NORTHBOUND TO:
I-95 just north of Ormond Beach (approx. 11 miles)
I-95 just north of Bunnell (approx. 27 miles)
I-95 at St. Augustine (approx. 45 miles)
U.S. 1 intersects I-95 north at all three of the above locations. We recommend you stay on U.S. 1 north all the way to St. Augustine then take I-95 north at St. Augustine. -
U.S. 1 SOUTHBOUND TO:
SR 44 in New Smyrna Beach (then 15 miles to I-4 west)
SR 442 in Edgewater (then 5 miles to I-95 south)
To get to U.S 1, go east from the Speedway to Ridgewood Avenue. (Ridgewood Ave. is U.S. 1)
NOTE: I-4 is under construction between Orlando and Daytona Beach and I-95 is under construction south of Jacksonville and around Daytona Beach. Some delays may be experienced and we recommend leaving earlier than planned to avoid delays associated with the construction.
