A QR code is a two-dimensional barcode. Using your Smartphone’s camera, along with decoding software, you can capture a picture of a QR code. The QR code software can then transform the data found in the QR code into various actions such as connecting to a web address, downloading an MP3, dialing a telephone number and more!

How do QR Codes work?

1)    To get started, you must first download a QR code reader to your Smartphone. Here are some suggestions: (Iphone : Optiscan; Android: Barcode Scanner; Blackberry: Blackberry Messenger; Universal: I-Nigma, Quickmark, Neoreader)

                                                            2)     Scan the QR code using your Smartphone reader you just downloaded.

                                                            3)    Lastly, follow the on screen prompts and be instantly connected!

Be on the look out for Daytona’s very own Social Squad.  They will be walking around the track in aqua blue shirts “checking in” fans on Facebook.  Make sure to meet and greet them if you spot a Social Squad member at the track!
