Message From Daytona
NEW SEATING FOR 2015
- Included in the packet you received in the mail is your ticket order for the 2015 DAYTONA 500, which replaces the renewal mailing traditionally sent each April. Because your current seating area will have new seats in 2015, we are contacting you now to ensure we have plenty of time to work with each of you on the placement of your new seats.
- Your new seats will be in place for the 2015 DAYTONA 500, although construction will not be complete. The amenities you’re used to having will be available in your new seating area, however construction will still be underway. Construction will be complete when you return for the 2016 DAYTONA 500.
NO CHANGES IN 2014
- There will not be any changes to your seats for the 2014 DAYTONA 500 on February 23, 2014, although you’ll notice several construction areas and new structures going up when you arrive at the World Center of Racing.
- As a result of larger seats, more leg room as well as the new section and row numbering plan, many areas may appear to have a lower row number. The grandstands will actually start higher, extend higher than the current black and white Tower seats in Petty, Earnhardt and Sprint Tower and have a steeper slope allowing for greater views. While your row number may have changed you will likely have a higher and better view of the Speedway.
HOW TO LOCK IN YOUR 2015 DAYTONA 500 SEATS
If you’re satisfied with your seat location for the 2015 DAYTONA 500, you can lock in your seats using one of the following methods:
1. Click here.
2. Call us at 855-285-7223 and we’ll walk you through the process.
3. Mail the Seat Assignment Form located in your package back to us.
If you’d like to request another seat location for 2015 or if you have been separated from your group, you can request to relocate by using one of the following methods:
1. Click here and complete the seat relocation survey questions. You’ll receive an email recapping the information you provided shortly after submitting.
2. Call us at 855-285-7223 and let us know where you’d like to move.
3. Complete the Seat Relocation Request Form, located on the back of the Seat Assignment Form that you received in the mail. Please be sure to complete the payment information on the form prior to sending it back to us. You only need to place a $10 deposit to lock in your place at the 2015 DAYTONA 500.
Relocations will be done based on years of purchase and on a first request basis. Please submit your relocation request before December 16, 2013. Relocations will be completed by May 16, 2014 and an email confirmation of your new seat locations will be sent. It’s important to verify your contact information with the ticket office to ensure proper communication throughout the process.

Based on tradition, we expect the 2015 DAYTONA 500 will be held on February 22, 2015.
For those of you who will be attending the DAYTONA 500 for the first time in 2014, typically you have the first opportunity to renew your same seats, or move to different seats, for the next event before tickets go on sale to the public. Traditionally these renewals are sent in April following the event. Due to the current construction and long waiting list for tickets, we want to get a jump on the process to ensure adequate time to work with each of you on the placement of your new seats.
The deadline to return your 2015 DAYTONA 500 Seat Assignment Form & Relocation Request is December 16, 2013 to lock in your seating priority.
We understand the importance of sitting around your extended race family. Every effort will be made to seat guests together and in your desired seat locations.
We don't expect any changes to the current race schedule and events will be held on the same event weekends.
Beginning in 2016, we will have an all-new sound system throughout the grandstands and in the concourses.
We want to make this process as easy and smooth as possible for you. Our staff is here to help with any questions you have, so feel free to give us a call at 855-285-7223 between 9am to 7pm (ET) daily.
At this time we have started relocations for only the DAYTONA 500. Unless you had a package that included other events (i.e. four-race, three-race or two-race package), the enclosed seat locations only applies to your 2015 DAYTONA 500 seats. If you wish to keep these same seats for other events you may request this on your Seat Assignment Form. Otherwise, relocations and renewals for the remaining Budweiser Speedweeks 2015 events will be complete in April 2014.
You will definitely be able to continue bringing your coolers with you to events at Daytona International Speedway. We understand that many of you enjoy bringing your favorite personal beverages to the Speedway and will not prohibit you from doing so in the future.
Ticket prices will remain fairly flat compared to pricing today. Please reference the 2015 price map for specific pricing by section.
We will not require you to purchase a seat license and have also reduced the number of four-day and two-day seat packages available.
Full payment for your 2015 DAYTONA 500 seats is not required at this time. Only $10 down will lock in your seats, with the balance due on June 1, 2014. At this time, it's most important for us to understand each guest's seating preference.
Seating will change beginning with Budweiser Speedweeks 2015 in the following areas: Lockhart, Keech, Segrave, Roberts and Petty.
There will not be any change to your seating area for Budweiser Speedweeks 2014.
Seating priority is based on years of purchase for each ticket holder. We will make every effort to work with you to place you in desirable seating.
Complete the Relocation Request Form included in the packet you received in the mail and send it back to us before December 16, 2013. You can also complete this form online. We will work with each guest to talk through the new seating options to identify the ideal location for you.
To help maximize your view of the Speedway, we've completely redesigned the grandstands. The front row will be up to 12 feet higher across the entire grandstands and all lower-level seats will have improved sightlines. New, upper level seats will continue to have views similar to the upper levels of the current Petty, Earnhardt and Sprint Towers. Space between rows has been widened to provide more leg room and rows will have 24 or less seats, making it even more convenient to access your seat. Finally, seats will increase to 20" or 21" and all will offer cup holders.
The new grandstand layout will utilize a standard section/row numbering system that you are used to seeing in most stadiums.
In 2015, the new grandstand sections will extend higher throughout the frontstretch providing optimum views from all seating locations. The grandstands will not stretch as far into Turn 1 as they currently do. Ticket holders currently seated in Lockhart grandstands sections A-J and Roberts Chair sections F-H have been relocated to seats as close to their current view as possible.

We officially broke ground on DAYTONA Rising in July 2013, so construction is in full swing. When you arrive at Daytona for events in 2014 and 2015, you will notice significant construction between the grandstands and International Speedway Boulevard. Fence lines have been moved back to begin work on the new grandstand structure, which will impact how you move around the facility and access your seats. We will send multiple communications leading into Budweiser Speedweeks 2014 with construction details, tips on how to access your seats and updated facility maps to make your event experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
