DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 18, 2008) – Capt. Rick Murphy, who hosts saltwater fishing’s hottest show “Sportsman’s Adventures With Capt. Rick Murphy,” will make an appearance and sign autographs at the Chevy Display located in the Midway outside of Turn 4 during the Coke Zero 400 Weekend Powered By Coca-Cola.

 

On Saturday, July 5 prior to the 50th annual Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola, Murphy will hold 20 minute fishing clinics at the Chevy display and reveal fishing secrets, casting tips and how to take your passion for sport fishing to the next level. The clinics are scheduled for 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

 

Following the clinics, Murphy will sign autographs between 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

 

Murphy started out as a professional fishing guide in South Florida and has racked up over 25 years in the saltwater fishing industry. In addition to his many duties as host of Sportman’s Adventures,” Murphy acts as a consultant to many companies and presents casting seminars and slide and video presentations at fishing clubs and key fishing and boat shows on behalf of sponsors.

 

Since 1988, Murphy has guided his angles to grand championships in almost every major South Florida fishing tournament.
