DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – In addition to taking home some unforgettable memories from the festivities surrounding the 50^th running of the Daytona 500 this past weekend, ten lucky race fans also got to take home a new 50th Anniversary Edition Chevy Impala.
 
The winners were part of the Chevy Great American Race Experience that provided 50 race fans from 50 different states a once-in-a-lifetime weekend experience to help celebrate the 50th running of the Daytona 500 on Feb. 17, 2008, with10 of those individuals winning a brand new Chevy Impala.
 
The 10 lucky winners were:  Jessica Wilson (Streamwood, IL), Richard Billings (Scituate, MA), Heidi Alley (Cushing, ME), Jason Berg (Fargo, ND), David Gayanich (Blanchard, OK),  Geoff Darling (Salem, OR), Jeff Haire (Rock Hill, SC), Don Kish (Hendersonville, TN), Alex Thoms (Bennington, VT),  and Dale Nevin (Thora, WI).
 
October 16 through December 3, fans visited Chevy.com/Daytona500 to enter. Each individual was randomly chosen to represent their state and won a trip for two to the Daytona 500 weekend including two tickets for all three NASCAR events taking place that weekend – the Chevy Silverado 250 Craftsman Truck Series event, the Camping World 300 Presented by Chevy Nationwide Series race and the 50th running of the Daytona 500. The experience also included VIP behind-the-scenes access to the Daytona 500, a lap around historic Daytona International Speedway, private Chevy parties, meet and greets with Team Chevy drivers as well as airfare and four nights of lodging.
 
The 10 vehicle winners were selected during pre-race ceremonies to win a 2008 50th Anniversary Chevy Impala.
