Special Visitors Join Speedway Ambassadors in Bringing Cheer and Well Wishes to Children at Halifax Health
The United States Thunderbirds, the Easter Bunny and Daytona International Speedway President, Robin Braig took time out of their busy schedules recently to visit children in the Speediatrics unit at Halifax Health. Speedway employees volunteer their time throughout the year providing holiday decorations, gifts and entertainment to the children during their stay in the hospital. Sick children receive special guest appearances from race car drivers and celebrities during race season as well as visits by famous air patrol officers as the famous “Thunderbirds.”

Famous United States Air Patrol Officers the "Thunderbirds" share amazing stories with Speediatrics patients and families as part of their visit to Daytona Beach during the Daytona 500 50th anniversary celebration this year.

Speedway employees enjoy handing out gifts and goodies to young patients and their famies in hopes of bringing a little cheer to them while in the hospital.
