Photo Cutline: Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig pens a thank-you letter to one of thousands of race fans who have purchased tickets to Speedweeks 2007. The "Thank You" letter campaign is part of the Speedway's "Fans R 1st at Daytona" Initiative in which DIS personnel from various departments including Ticketing, Communications, Business Development, Marketing Partnerships, Credentials, Guest Services and Administration took time to jot thank-you notes to some 65,000 Speedweeks 2007 ticket holders. Thousands of Speedweeks 2007 ticket holders received hand-written thank you notes in the mail from Daytona International Speedway employees, including Track President Robin Braig, as part of the Speedway's "Fans R 1st at Daytona" Initiative. DIS personnel from various departments including Ticketing, Communications, Business Development, Marketing Partnerships, Credentials, Guest Services and Administration took time to jot thank-you notes to some 65,000 Speedweeks 2007 ticket holders. "We're glad that fans are already making the decision to visit us in 2007," said Track President Braig. "At the 'World Center of Racing' our fans are No. 1. We know they have a lot of entertainment options out there and we're happy that thousands choose to come to Daytona each year to spend Speedweeks with us." Speedweeks 2007 kicks off with the Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 27-28. Also on tap for the three-week festival of speed are the Budweiser Shootout (Feb. 10), the Gatorade Duel (Feb. 15), the Chevy Silverado HD 250 Craftsman Truck Series race and IROC (Feb. 16), the Daytona 300 Busch Series race (Feb. 17) and the 49th annual Daytona 500 (Feb. 18).
