DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 22, 2008) -- Before the riders in the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series tackle the high banks of Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 18, they will first sit down with the fans for a hour-long autograph session in the Sprint FANZONE at 10 a.m.
Around 100 riders are expected to participate in the session before they race later that day in the eight-hour race. Among the riders expected to be in attendance include AMA Hall of Famer and former Daytona 200 champion Gary Nixon (now team manager for the Pair-A-Nines team), Jay Springsteen, Jimmy Filice, Justin Filice, Doug Polen, Chris Ulrich, Brian Parriott, Nate Kern, Michael Barnes and Shawn Higbee.
