DAYTONA BEACH , Fla. (Feb. 3, 2009) -- The ARCA RE/MAX Series garage area at historic Daytona International Speedway will open to race fans that have purchased both an event ticket and Sprint FANZONE/Pre-Race access on Saturday, February 7th from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Several ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers will be at their race team transporters to sign autographs offering race fans an opportunity to meet the stars of the ARCA RE/MAX Series just hours before the start of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 season-opening event.
Drivers expected to participate in the autograph session include nine-time ARCA RE/MAX Series champion Frank Kimmel, Eddie Sharp Racing’s Justin Lofton, 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Rookie of the Year Matt Carter and Indiantown, Florida’s Patrick Sheltra among others.
Race fans with both an event ticket and a Sprint FANZONE/Pre-Race access can enter the ARCA RE/MAX Series Garage area through Gate 503 on the South side of the Sprint FANZONE. Alcohol will not be permitted in the garage area.
