For the seventh straight year, historic Daytona International Speedway has been awarded the Welcome Mat from The Good Sam Club for hosting the most RV friendly NASCAR event – the Daytona 500.
The Good Sam Club, the world's largest membership organization of RV owners, introduced their Welcome Mat Awards to recognize RV-friendly businesses for their customer service and commitment to the recreation vehicle lifestyle. More than one million RV owners were eligible to vote for businesses and events that go out of the way to recognize the needs of RV owners.

The Daytona 500, which was won earlier this year by Roush Fenway Racing’s Matt Kenseth, kicks off the new NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and is the circuit's biggest, richest and most prestigious race of the year. In 2010, the 52nd annual Daytona 500 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14 and tickets and RV packages will go on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, May 16.
Daytona International Speedway offers a wide-variety of RV packages that offer prime viewing spots for all of the racing at the legendary motorsports facility.
