Straightaway To Stardom Singing Competition to Provide Dream Opportunity to Sing National Anthem at the July 4 Subway Firecracker 250 Powered By Coca-Cola at DIS
Daytona International Speedway is in search of top singing talent for the Straightaway to Stardom talent competition, which will provide one singer the dream of a lifetime to sing the National Anthem before thousands of race fans under the lights at historic Daytona International Speedway.
The singing competition will start on Monday, June 8, when Daytona International Speedway will begin accepting submissions online at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com/STS to sing the National Anthem for the Subway Firecracker 250 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR XFINITY Series race, scheduled for Saturday night, July 4 and televised on NBCSN. Each contestant must submit a video performing the National Anthem in less than two minutes. The first 100 entries will be accepted.
Following a review by a panel of Daytona International Speedway judges, 10 finalists will be selected to advance to the final round of competition in Gatorade Victory Lane on Saturday, June 27.
The grand prize winner will perform the National Anthem at the Subway Firecracker 250 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Saturday night, July 4. The winner will also receive credentials and tickets for both the Subway Firecracker 250 Powered By Coca-Cola and the Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, July 5.
The stars of NASCAR return to Daytona International Speedway on July 3-5.
