Dress for success
You’ll be outdoors throughout your time in Sprint FANZONE and, with so much to see and do, you don’t want your clothing choices slowing you down. Dress in layers that you can easily take off or put back on, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring sunscreen and sunglasses or a hat to protect yourself from the Florida sun.
Download the Sprint FANZONE schedule
With everything from driver appearances, historic displays, autograph sessions, and more, Sprint FANZONE offers a variety of unique activities. However, many of them are extremely time-sensitive and, in order to get the most out of your Sprint FANZONE wristband, you should plan out exactly how you’d like to fit everything in. To help you plan out your day, it’s highly recommended that you download the new Daytona International Speedway mobile app. The app allows you to create customizable daily schedules, which will send you push notifications throughout the day to keep you updated on all of the event happenings that interest you.
Sign up early for garage tours
On select days during Speedweeks, free 30-minute garage tours will be given for 15 guests at a time. Tours are not guaranteed with your Sprint FANZONE wristband. Once you enter Sprint FANZONE, head over to the FPL Solar Patio to see if there are any available tours left. It’s first-come, first-serve and your entire party must be present for sign ups, so if you want a chance to take a tour, make this a top priority. Once again, these aren’t available every day and the scheduling depends on the on-track schedule, which can vary. Be sure to check out the schedule for the day when you first arrive at Sprint FANZONE. It is well worth it as the tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at the Sprint Cup garages. You may even be run into your favorite driver or their car.
Take advantage of Pre-Race festivities
Participate in a DAYTONA tradition unlike any other in all of sports. Spend pre-race walking the trioval, exploring the 18-degree frontstretch banking for yourself. Walk in the footsteps of your legends before taking a picture on the start/finish line that you and your friends just signed. In addition, you’ll have to grab an up-close spot to watch award-winning country duo Florida Georgia Line rock the stage in the DAYTONA 500 Pre-Race Show.
