To experience the Coke Zero 400 Powered By Coca-Cola isn’t just to experience one race. It’s about fully sensing the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the events and fanfare during Coke Zero 400 Weekend. Making sure you complete this checklist is your key to a racing event like none other.
We provide free general parking in Lot 7, just north of the track. Shuttles run from Lot 7 to and from the stadium, making parking and transportation free and convenient for all fans. Make sure to download the Daytona International Speedway mobile app so you can put a pin on your car in order to find it quickly following the race.
While every sightline at the new stadium is terrific, there is much to be gained from honing in on your favorite drivers or watching a pit stop take place in extraordinary detail.
Tune in to WNDB 93.5 FM/1150 AM in Daytona Beach for the MRN broadcast and 107.9 to hear the track PA, which both bring an exciting element to the viewer experience. Twitter is another great place to get up to the minute information from the Speedway, teams and drivers. If you’d like to listen to drivers and crew during the race, you can rent a FanVision Bolt at the stadium or in the Sprint FANZONE.
Prepare for the Outdoors
DAYTONA enjoys some of the best weather in all of racing; however, just like the action on-track, Mother Nature can be unpredictable. Be sure to bring items to prepare for all types of weather including rain ponchos, sunglasses and sunscreen. Please remember that umbrellas aren't permitted in the stadium.
With so much to do and so much to see, a comfortable pair of shoes will be your best friend for this event.
When 40 race cars speed past you at almost 200 mph, it’s a good bet that things will get rather noisy. Bring along a pair of ear plugs so you can enjoy the race at a comfortable decibel level.
Sharpie and Memorabilia
You never know who you might run into in the new Midway, throughout the stadium and in the Sprint FANZONE. Drivers come and go from garage sessions, sponsor appearances and autograph sessions, so there's always a chance you might meet your favorite driver. Sharpies will also come in handy during pre-race festivities when fans are allowed to continue the longstanding tradition of signing the start/finish line. Make sure to add Sprint FANZONE access to your race ticket in order to participate.
Make yourself at home by bringing coolers from home, full of your favorite food and drinks. Be sure to check out the gate policies to find out what you can and cannot bring.
