For the first time ever, Sully Erna and Aaron Lewis, two of the most acclaimed frontmen in rock--the voices of multiplatinum rock bands Godsmack and Staind--will perform their hits together, side-by-side, in an intimate and unplugged evening on The American Drive-In Tour, kicking off in October. It’s one of the first 2020 drive-in live rock concert tours planned across multiple cities, and promises a once-in-a-lifetime event for fans, featuring a special evening of hits, covers and conversation with Aaron and Sully appearing together on stage. Here are some helpful tips to know before your arrival:
- This show is an acoustic show that fans attend, LIVE, from their car. Tune-in station for audio will be 107.9 FM.
- No outside alcohol will be allowed in; however, food and non-alcoholic drinks can be brought in.
- 4 people max per car.
- Masks and health screening (including temperature check) are required to enter.
- Concessions will be available on-site selling food and drinks, including alcohol.
- Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at approximately 9pm.
- Fans will enter via Gate 40 off of Williamson Blvd. and be directed to your parking spot.
- Lifted trucks, RV’s and campers will NOT be permitted.
We strongly encourage you to not bring bags of any sort. If you must bring a bag, you must abide by the following restrictions:
All attendees and their belongings are subject to search upon entry of the venue. Your safety is our number one concern, so these items are also subject to change at any time and at the discretion of the entrance gate and security staff.

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?
Tickets are available for purchase online at aaronandsully.com.
Tickets are sold via socially distanced spaces for vehicles with a maximum of 4 occupants per vehicle.
This is an all ages event, and all attendees require admission. Children must be supervised at all times.
A face covering MUST be worn at all times if leaving the designated vehicle space. Social distancing will be strictly enforced, no matter the age range, to keep everyone safe.
All ticket sales are final.
HOW MUCH IS PARKING?
Parking for this event is included in your ticket purchase.
ARE THERE ANY VIDEO SCREENS?
There will be two video screens, both located on the sides of the stage.
WHAT TIME CAN I ARRIVE?
The parking lot for check-in is scheduled to open at 6:00PM (subject to change). Please make sure to allow yourself plenty of time to arrive and get checkedin before the show starts, promptly at 9:00PM.
CAN I RESERVE A SPECIFIC VEHICLE SPACE?
All tickets are General Admission within each section and will NOT be assigned prior to arrival. You be directed into your socially distanced space upon arrival and must maintain your party within that space.
If you are trying to sit near to other friends in a separate vehicle, we suggest trying to arrive at the same time to secure spaces near each other. It is recommended that you only share a vehicle with household members with whom you have been sheltering in place and mingling with other groups from other vehicles is strictly prohibited.
Please note that oversized vehicles such large vans, lifted trucks and RV’s are not allowed.
IS TAILGATING PERMITTED?
Tailgating in the parking lot is permitted for these shows, because the parking lot is your viewing space. Congregating with other groups from other vehicles is strictly prohibited. You are allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages. Please note that oversized vehicles such large vans, lifted trucks and RV’s are not allowed.
ARE POP-UP TENTS ALLOWED?
Tents, stand umbrellas and tarps are not permitted at any time during the event by guests.
ARE CHAIRS AND BLANKETS ALLOWED?
Yes, you may bring in lightweight portable chairs and blankets. All items will be subject to search.
ARE RESTROOMS & CONCESSIONS AVAILABLE?
Restrooms will be available for use and guests who need to use the facilities must follow social distancing restrictions and instructional signs. Guests must wear a protective mask when leaving their designated vehicle space to utilize the restroom area. Handicap restrooms will be available, and all restrooms will be monitored by a housekeeping attendant to ensure surfaces are cleaned frequently.
A limited number of concessions stands will be available throughout the venue. Signage on site will direct you to their location, along with available menus. Guests must wear a mask when traveling to and from concessions areas and must follow social distancing restrictions.
We kindly ask that all guests utilize the trash container nearest their vehicle when exiting the venue.
WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT IS ACCEPTED AT THE EVENT?
Credit Card/Debit Card and cash payments will be accepted. Some concessions stands may be limited to credit card only. We strongly encourage everyone to use credit card/debit card payments whenever possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
The events are designated as rain or shine, however, your safety is our priority. In the event of inclement weather, event management may decide to delay the performance or make necessary arrangements to keep you, the talent and our staff safe. Important updates will be communicated through each venue and promoter’s social media platforms.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?
Only standard point-and-shoot cameras will be permitted.
Cameras with detachable lenses, Go-Pros, or any other professional audio, video, or digital recording devices are prohibited.
The band allows AUDIENCE mic audio recording only. NO VIDEO RECORDING IS PERMITTED.
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?
This is an all ages event. Anyone under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult and all patrons must be accounted for in the ticket purchase, regardless of age.
All children must wear a face covering if leaving the designated tailgating space and will be required to stay inside their tailgating space or vehicle at all times unless using the restrooms or concessions areas. Social distancing will be strictly enforced, no matter the age range, to keep everyone safe.
DO I HAVE TO LISTEN ON MY CAR STEREO?
This is a drive-in event. Your vehicle area and adjacent viewing area is your spot for the show. This show will provide a combination of live PA and FM Transmission on 107.9 JACK FM for everyone’s viewing/listening pleasure. Please note that those vehicles that are farther back should plan on tuning into 107.9 JACK FM for best sound quality.
WHERE SHOULD I ENTER THE VENUE?
You will enter the venue via GATE 40 off of Williamson Boulevard.
CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
Re-entry is not permitted. Guests leaving the venue after their event ticket has been scanned will be subject to purchasing a new event ticket and will lose their original space.
WILL TOUR MERCH BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE?
Yes, we will have mobile sellers moving throughout the vehicle areas with event merchandise for purchase.
HOW LONG ARE THE EVENTS?
The run time of the show is approximately 1.5 hours.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
While we LOVE pets of all kinds, they are not permitted at these events. Certified support animals are welcome with documentation.
WHAT IS A “LIVE” DRIVE-IN CONCERT?
This event will feature Aaron Lewis (of Staind) and Sully Erna (of Godsmack) LIVE on stage. The event is designed to give fans the live show experience, while still maintaining social distancing at all times. Acts will be LIVE and performing on outdoor stages complete with lighting, video screens and a full sound system. This show will utilize vehicles throughout the venue to maintain proper distancing standards between groups (see map below). This show will be a typical drive-in show where you watch the show in or next to your vehicle.
WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE BEING TAKEN?
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other guests and staff members. You must follow all posted instructions while attending The American Drive-In Tour.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending The American Drive-In Tour, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree to not hold Danny Wimmer Presents, LLC or any of their affiliates, directors, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
Help keep each other healthy
All CDC, along with State and Local Health guidelines will be followed, and we are working closely with the County to ensure these events meets or exceeds all recommended standards.
- Vehicles will be spaced to accommodate social distancing.
- Patrons may only leave their vehicle area to use restrooms or to obtain concessions or merchandise.
- Your vehicle space may only be reserved for the patrons inside of your vehicle.
- Facemasks are required AT ALL TIMES outside of your designated parking space, including traveling to and from restrooms, concessions and merchandise areas.
- Mingling between vehicles is prohibited and safe social distancing will be strictly enforced by security.
- If the above polices are not adhered to, you will be asked to leave the show with NO REFUND.
Event staff will be wearing personal protective equipment as required by CDC guidelines. Policies are subject to change pending any changes in CDC and State guidelines.
WHAT IS PROHIBITED AT THE EVENT?
The following items are prohibited inside the venues:
- Advertising, selling or promoting any third-party product (including, but not limited to, food and beverage items)
- Displays of the confederate flag
- Amplified sound systems (small portable speakers and car stereo systems are ok, but more not interfere with other guests experience.
- Frisbees, balloons, beach balls or any other projectile
- Skateboards, hover boards, roller skates and bicycles
- Obscene or indecent clothing
- Disorderly conduct
- Grills or fryers
- Kerosene lamps or open flames of any kind
- Laser pointers
- Nitrous tanks
- Tents, stand umbrellas and tarps
- Use of drones
- Wagons and strollers
- Weapons (firearms, knives, etc.) and all other items restricted by Local, State or Federal law. This includes pocket knives.
Any other items deemed inappropriate or unsafe may be refused at the discretion of security and management. These items are subject to change without notice. There
are no provisions for checking and holding items deemed restricted. Restricted items may not be left at or around the gates. Items left unattended will be removed and
WHAT SECURITY MEASURES ARE BEING TAKEN?
The shows will be staffed with local police officers and private (t-shirt) security guards, just like you would see at a normal concert. They will be patrolling all areas inside the venue to ensure that social distancing practices are in place and fans are not congregating in large groups.
