DAYTONA Beach Half Marathon
Speedway, Beach and Back!
Volusia County Government and Daytona International Speedway are again partnering to bring this iconic race to the community. Named one of the seven scenic half marathons in America by Active.com, this is one of the most unique courses in the running world. The 2020 event will feature a one-of-a-kind half marathon route, as well as two challenge opportunities. The 13.1 mile race offers runners the opportunity to start on the famed tri-oval track of the Daytona International Speedway and run to the hard-packed sands of the beach, where racing got its name, before heading back towards the Speedway to a photo finish at ONE DAYTONA, where runners will celebrate with drinks, food and awards! 2020 will again expand festivities over two days, with the second annual Beachin' It 5K— an out and back on the beach Saturday afternoon. The Beachin’ It 5K will be followed by a beach party. This is a one-of-a-kind weekend you won't want to miss!
