While things may look a little different at the Speedway, the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA is sure to carry on the storied tradition of hosting the world’s top talent for this grueling showcase of driver and machine. There will be much to explore, including the multiple vantage points to watch the action, the carnival atmosphere at the Boardwalk on Lake Lloyd, the virtual DAYTONA 5K Run & Fun Walk, the fireworks show and more!

As we look forward to the start of a new IMSA season and continue preparations for the Roar Before The Rolex 24 and Rolex 24 At DAYTONA weekend, we are more grateful than ever to have the best fans in sports!

2021 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA Update

We hope that you and your family have remained safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your patience and support.

At this time we are planning to safely host a reduced, limited number of fans in the venue and the infield for the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA weekend in accordance with current guidelines from state and local government, medical professionals, and public health officials.

Infield bleachers and frontstretch venue seating will continue to be general admission but with 6 ft. social distancing enforced between parties. Markers will be placed on the infield bleachers to identify where fans may sit while other measures will be in place within the frontstretch venue seating areas to ensure compliance with all protocols. Additionally, social distance markers will be placed in standing room only areas along the road course fencelines. We will also have our DIS Fan Crew (guest services) in these areas to assist you. Please note that access may be restricted to some seating areas during peak/busy times to allow for social distancing.

In addition, for the safety of our competitors and staff, the garages, paddock and pit road will be closed to fans, and the grid walk and ballfield access will also be closed to fans during pre-race activities

All 2021 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA 2-Day or 4-Day admissions are still on your account and will be available to download/print approximately two weeks before the event as we will not be mailing tickets or camping passes in 2021. For our guests with a cancelled experience, we understand this news is disappointing and we have placed a credit on your account for the cancelled experiences.

We recognize that many factors, including your ability to travel, may have been impacted by the pandemic, and we want you to understand your options as you make decisions related to attending the 2021 Rolex 24. Please carefully read your options below based on your specific Rolex 24 At DAYTONA experience.

RV CAMPING INFO

RV Campers will be limited to six people per campsite, and all RVs must be self-contained as shower facilities will be closed. In addition, for the safety of our competitors and staff, the garages, paddock and pit road will be closed to fans, and the grid walk and ballfield access will be also be closed to fans for the 2021 event. As a result, Garage access is no longer included with the 4-day admission. We understand this news is disappointing, and we have placed a credit on your account amounting to 20% of your 4-day admissions.

The credit can be used toward securing tickets or camping for the 2022 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA weekend or towards any IMSA or NASCAR event at a NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022, upon availability.

As a result, experiences will be modified in accordance with COVID-19 protocols. As a result, Garage access is no longer included with the 4-Day admission.

If you still plan on attending the 2021 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA and would like to choose this option, no further action is needed. We’ll be in touch as more details around the event weekend are finalized. This communication will be available early in 2021. INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CREDIT

For our 4-Day Ticket Holders, also known as 4-Day Wristbands, as a result of the garage, pit road and paddock closure to fans, Garage Access is no longer included with the 4-day admission. We have placed a credit on your account amounting to 20% of your 4-day admissions.

The credit can be used toward purchasing parking for the event, securing tickets or camping for the 2022 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA weekend or towards any IMSA or NASCAR event at a NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022, upon availability.

We understand this news is disappointing. As a result of the tent and car camping experience cancellation and the changes to the 4-day admission, we have made the following changes to your account:

We will defer the camping portion of your order to the 2022 event and place an additional 20% credit on your account for the cancelled camping experience.
An additional 20% credit of the amount paid towards 4-day admissions has also been placed on your account, due to the garage closure.

4-DAY INFIELD CAR PARKING

4-Day Car Parking will be available for advance purchase ($60) in the infield. Daytona International Speedway will designate areas for vehicle parking and these areas will be general admission and parked on a first come, first serve basis. Vehicles may enter the parking area daily after 7:00 am and must leave within one hour of track activity concluding on Thursday and Friday. Vehicles may remain parked throughout the duration of the Rolex 24 on Saturday and Sunday. However, these spaces are designated only for vehicle parking (no tents and no camping allowed in designated vehicle parking areas).

4-Day Car Parking will be available for advance purchase ($45) in GEICO Park West. Vehicles may enter the parking area at Gate 40 daily after 7:00 am and must leave within one hour of track activity concluding on Thursday and Friday. All vehicles will be parked on a first come, first serve basis within the parking lot. Vehicles may remain parked throughout the duration of the Rolex 24 on Saturday and Sunday. HOW MANY FANS ARE BEING ALLOWED EACH DAY FOR THE ROLEX 24 AT DAYTONA?

How many fans are being allowed each day for the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA?

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, venue capacity will be limited to allow for socially distanced seating. Guest groups will be seated so that there is at least 6 feet of distance between them and another group.

WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS DECISION NOW?

The limited number of fans permitted each day is in accordance with enhanced safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe experience.

We also understand that many of our fans have either already made or are planning to make decisions on travel arrangements and we want to ensure everyone has the proper amount of time ahead of the DAYTONA 500 in February.

In order to reduce the potential for crowds in social/common areas, all campground shower facilities will be closed. All campers must have self-contained RVs with toilet facilities on board, as well as other amenities. As a result, we will not be able to accommodate tent campers or car campers.

We understand this news is disappointing. As a result of the tent and car camping experience in the infield being cancelled and the changes to the 4-day admission, we have made the following changes to your account:

For our tent campers in GEICO Park West, we will defer the camping portion of your order to the 2022 event and place an additional 20% credit on your account for your cancelled experience. If you order included garage access, we have placed an additional credit on your account as well.

When will the event credit be applied to my account?

HOW CAN I USE THE EVENT CREDIT?

How can I use the event credit?

You can use your credit towards additional tickets or available parking for the 2021 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA or you can also use your account credit toward tickets, camping or parking for the 2022 Rolex 24 At DAYTONA. You can also use your credit at a future IMSA or NASCAR event at any NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022, subject to availability. This includes Auto Club Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Darlington Speedway, Daytona International Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Iowa Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Michigan International Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Richmond Raceway, Route 66 Raceway, Sebring International Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway and Watkins Glen International.

How do I request a refund instead of credit?

4-Day Ticket Holders, Infield Tent/Car Campers and GEICO Park West Tent Campers wishing to request a refund for their cancelled experiences must complete the refund request form by January 20, 2021. All refund requests will be reviewed and, if approved, refunds could take a minimum of 60 days to show on your credit card.

If I bought tickets and/or reserved travel through another source, can I still get a refund?

Any event credits or refunds will only be made to the ticketholder on file with Daytona International Speedway. If tickets were purchased through a third party, please contact them directly for information on their refund policy.

Fans will need to inquire directly with airlines, hotels, etc. for any such possible arrangements with regard to travel.

Will this affect my renewal rights?

No, it will not impact your renewal rights. By opting out of the 2021 event you are deferring your order to the 2022 event. All payments currently on your account will be put towards your 2022 order, and we have placed an additional 20% credit on your account.

Do you foresee any other event changes?

As we continue to work with our local and state public health officials, there may be changes to event offerings and the protocols for the event. Should more changes occur, we will update all ticket holders via email, social media, and our website.

These protocols include a screening process with a non-contact temperature check prior to entering the event gates. Guests will also be required to bring and wear mandatory face coverings, and a strict 6’ social distancing mandate will be enforced onsite.

For campers, this means no large gatherings at your campsite, as well as a requirement that all RVs be self-contained with running water and holding tanks as shower or restroom facilities will not be open this February.

WILL INFIELD RV AND WEST LOT RV CAMPING BE AFFECTED?

Will infield RV and West Lot RV camping be affected?

Camping, with the exception of Infield Tent/Car Camping and GEICO Park West Tent Camping, will continue to be available throughout race week, with load-in beginning as early as January 26. All campers will be pre-screened, asked to park in the same direction on the right side of each campsite, with all campsites limited to a maximum of 6 guests per spot. Compounds created across multiple sites will not be permitted, and neither will large gatherings with groups from multiple campsites. RVs will need to be self-contained with running water and holding tanks as shower and restroom facilities will not be available in the campgrounds in 2021.
