TO OUR VALUED FANS,
Thank you for your continued support of Daytona International Speedway.
While things may look a little different at the Speedway, one truth remains: we are as committed as ever to delivering a best-in-class experience at the World Center of Racing for The Great American Race. From the awe of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flyover, to the rumble of 40 engines roaring around the high banks on the biggest stage in motorsports – the DAYTONA 500 is sure to once again deliver the pageantry, thrills, and drama for all fans, especially those able to attend in person.
As we look forward to the start of a new NASCAR season and continue preparations for Speedweeks Presented by AdventHealth, we are more grateful than ever to have the best fans in sports!
2021 Speedweeks Presented By AdventHealth Update
We hope that you and your family have remained safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your patience and support.
At this time, we plan to implement procedures to safely host fans for the 2021 DAYTONA 500 and Speedweeks events in accordance with current guidelines from state and local government, medical professionals, and public health officials including limiting venue capacity to allow for socially distanced seating and new protocols for campers. Additional COVID-19 safety protocols and sanitization measures will also be in place to ensure the safety of our guests, competitors, and team members.
We recognize that many factors, including your ability to travel, may have recently been impacted by the pandemic, and we want you to understand your options as you make decisions related to attending the 2021 DAYTONA 500 and Speedweeks events.

RESEATING PROCESS IS UNDERWAY
The safety of our fans has always been a top priority and now more than ever, we must do everything we can to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who visits the World Center of Racing.
Earlier this month we shared that we will welcome a limited, reduced number of fans each day of Speedweeks Presented By AdventHealth. As you can imagine, following our fifth straight sold-out event and increased excitement for this year’s DAYTONA 500, we are faced with the very difficult task of identifying how seats will be distributed for this year’s events to safely welcome fans for The Great American Race.
Over the next couple of weeks, our team is prepared to work diligently to reseat as many fans as possible in locations as comparable as possible to their original purchase. Priority will be given to our customers based on several factors, including number of events, purchase date and historical purchase history for this event. Unfortunately, due to the limited number of seats available, we will not be able to place everyone in new seats for the upcoming events.
As your new seat is assigned over the coming weeks, you should expect to receive a confirmation email from the Daytona International Speedway ticketing system. If we are not able to place you in a new seat, we will send follow up communication to you with information detailing all of your options. We expect to have this information sent to you by the week of January 11.
If you have any questions, please give us a call at 1-800-PITSHOP.
We appreciate your patience and support as we undergo this very tough process.
GEICO ORANGE TENT CAMPING GUESTS
In order to safely host fans for the 2021 DAYTONA 500 and Speedweeks events, new protocols and procedures will be in place. We unfortunately will not be able to offer tent camping in GEICO Orange campground or accommodate campers without self-contained RVs, as all campground shower facilities will be closed.
Additionally, capacity in the venue seating area will be limited to allow for socially distanced seating. If your order includes frontstretch tickets, your seat may be relocated, but we will work diligently to find you a seat location as close to your original purchase as possible.
As a result of this campground closure, we will defer your order to the 2022 event. To learn more about your options visit DAYTONA500.com/assistance.

GEICO GREEN RV CAMPING GUESTS
In order to safely host fans for the 2021 DAYTONA 500 and Speedweeks events, new protocols and procedures will be in place. Parties will be limited to six people per campsite, all RVs must be self-contained as shower facilities will be closed, and some infield areas will be restricted to competition-only personnel. Unfortunately, because the GEICO Grounds Green RV campground is located within this restricted area, it will be closed during Speedweeks 2021.

HOW MANY FANS ARE BEING ALLOWED EACH DAY FOR THE DAYTONA 500 AND SPEEDWEEKS EVENTS?
How many fans are being allowed each day for the DAYTONA 500 and Speedweeks events?
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, venue capacity will be limited to allow for socially distanced seating. Guest groups will be seated so that there is at least 6 feet of distance between them and another group.
WHY ARE YOU MAKING THIS DECISION NOW?
Why are you making this decision now?
The limited number of fans permitted each day is in accordance with enhanced safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe experience.
We also understand that many of our fans have either already made or are planning to make decisions on travel arrangements and we want to ensure everyone has the proper amount of time ahead of the DAYTONA 500 in February.
Will I be forced to change seats from the reserved seats I purchased?
Will I be forced to change seats from the reserved seats I purchased?
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, venue capacity will be limited to allow for socially distanced seating. For some guests this will mean your seats will be relocated to accommodate at least 6 feet of distance between you and another group. Our team will do their best to relocate fans to a seat that is as similar as possible to their current seats. The reseating process will take place in December and should be complete in early January. At that time, we will contact fans with their updated seating information. We will accommodate as many fans as possible in this process while maintaining socially distant seating protocols recommended by local and state public health experts.
Why are some campgrounds being closed for February?
Why are some campgrounds being closed for February?
In order to reduce the potential for crowds in social/common areas, all campground shower facilities will be closed. All campers must have self-contained RVs with toilet facilities on board, as well as other amenities. As a result, we will not be able to accommodate tent campers.
Some parts of the infield may also be located within NASCAR's secure competition area, which will need to be kept clear to follow protocols designed to keep drivers, teams, industry members, and fans safe. Because of its location in this restricted infield area, the GEICO Grounds Green RV campground will be closed for February.
WHAT ABOUT TENT CAMPING?
What about tent camping?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer tent camping in 2021.
Our team will automatically roll over your 2021 GEICO Orange Campgrounds tent camping purchase to the 2022 Speedweeks by AdventHealth event week. We will also place an additional 20% of the total amount paid for your tent camping experience on your Daytona International Speedway account as a result of this canceled experience. This is additional amount can be used towards your 2022 renewal or to purchase additional tickets or experiences to any NASCAR-sanctioned event at a NASCAR-owned track in 2021 or 2022, subject to availability.

Camping, with the exception of GEICO Orange Campgrounds tent camping and GEICO Grounds Green RV, will continue to be available throughout race week, with load-in beginning as early as February 3. All campers will be pre-screened, asked to park in the same direction on the right side of each campsite, with all campsites limited to a maximum of 6 guests per spot. Compounds created across multiple sites will not be permitted, and neither will large gatherings with groups from multiple campsites. RVs will need to be self-contained with running water and holding tanks as shower and restroom facilities will not be available in the campgrounds in 2021. As in the past, campers can stay on property through noon on Monday, February 15. Information about specific campground opening days and times can be found by clicking here.
