Fall Cycle Scene: Top Things to Do

Fall Cycle Scene returns to Daytona International Speedway Oct. 17-20 with activities for motorcycle enthusiasts throughout each day!

Kicking off the on-track action Friday, Oct. 18 will be Team Hammer Riding School from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday will showcase the Championship Cup Series (CCS) and American Sportbike Racing Association (ASRA) as they take to the 3.51-mile road course to crown their season champions.

When not watching the on-track action, fans are encouraged to check out the Midway – located along the frontstretch outside the seating areas – which will be brimming with activity all weekend long! The Midway provides a one-stop shopping destination with everything from the nation’s top motorcycle parts to Hot Leathers fashion, the official Bike Week apparel and accessories provider for Daytona International Speedway. Activities in the Midway include:

Yaffe’s Baddest Bagger Bike Show:Yaffe’s Baddest Bagger Bike Show features the most incredible collection of custom baggers gathered to find out who built the best rides at DAYTONA, with proceeds benefitting Bikers Against Bullies USA. The show will take place Friday, Oct. 18 in Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley near the AdventHealth Injector. Registration is from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with the awards ceremony taking place at 3 p.m. on the Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley stage.

Bikes will be judged based on five classes and trophies will be awarded to the top three baggers in each class, as well as an expanded list of specialty awards to include the overall Baddest Bagger. Winners may also be featured in Urban Rides Magazine.

Five Classes:

  • Stock, up to 21-inches
  • Modified, up to 23-inches
  • Radical, up to 26-inches or wide tires up to 240mm
  • Pro, 30- to 32-inches
  • SRT/Performance, a new class featuring large, wide performance tires

Full Throttle Magazine Bike Show presented by GEICO: The Full Throttle Magazine Bike Show presented by GEICO will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19 near the AdventHealth Injector in the Midway. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a $20 entry fee per bike, with the awards presentation held at 5 p.m. on the Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley Stage in the Midway. Trophies will be awarded in 10 categories and a $500 prize will be awarded to Best in Show. The 10 categories include:

  • Bagger
  • Harley-Davidson Non-Bagger
  • Metric
  • Stock Street
  • Trike
  • Antique
  • Ladies
  • Paint
  • Custom/Pro build
  • Anything Goes

Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley: Bikers can spend the day inside Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley enjoying a cold Budweiser and great food next to the area’s largest vendor and display marketplace. Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley will showcase live music and contests all weekend long.

Hot Leathers Fashion Show: See the hottest new styles of rider gear at the Hot Leathers Fashion Show on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. on the Harley-Davidson Thunder Alley Stage!

Vendors and displays: Guests can visit many of the nation’s top aftermarket product vendors or get a close-up look at what the cruiser and sport bike manufacturers and custom bike builders have to offer in their display areas.

RV camping is available in the DAYTONA infield. Gecko Shores at Lake Lloyd (with hook-ups) is available for $295 and GEICO Grounds Red (no hook-ups) is $175; both include two (2) three-day adult admissions for the weekend’s racing activities. Tent camping in the GEICO Campgrounds, located inside Turns 3 and 4, is FREE with your daily or weekend admission ticket. Motorcycle trailer parking, located in GEICO Park West, is $25. A three-day infield admission ticket can be purchased in advance for $50 at www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com, or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate for $10 for Friday admission and $25 per day Saturday and Sunday; children 12 and under are FREE. All tickets include FREE parking and UNOH Fanzone and garage access, and the Motorcycle Marketplace offers free admission and parking for motorcycle riders.
