DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Families can now join the race to end COVID-19 by getting a FREE COVID-19 test at The World Center of Racing – Daytona International Speedway.
Curative, Inc. is operating the testing site, located just outside of turn four of the iconic venue. Those seeking a test can enter at the intersection of Bill France Blvd. and International Speedway Blvd. Hours of operation for the outdoor site are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 4:30 p.m. ET, and the service can accommodate up to 600 tests per day. Appointments are recommended and can be made at www.curative.com or by calling 888-702-9042. Walk-ups will also be accommodated.
Curative has trained workers on-site observing and directing patients to complete a self-collected, shallow nasal PCR test. The test is available for symptomatic and asymptomatic people ages one year and older. Patients can expect results within 48 hours upon receipt at the lab. There is no charge for the test, but patients will be asked for health insurance information. Patients without health insurance will not be turned away. Testing will be offered as long as demand warrants. To ensure the safety of testing staff and community members, those who visit the site should wear a mask.
The Speedway is one of four locations in Volusia County that is offering FREE COVID-19 testing. To learn more, visit www.Volusia.org/coronavirus.

The Speedway will be the site of a host of motorsports events early in ‘22, beginning with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 and the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA in January, the 64th DAYTONA 500 as part of Speedweeks Presented by AdventHealth in February, along with the 81st Annual Bike Week At DAYTONA in March, featuring DAYTONA Supercross and DAYTONA 200. Later in the summer during Independence Day weekend, the track, in association with Torneos, will host Soccer Fest before the NASCAR Cup Series returns for the final race of the regular season with the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on Aug. 27.

About Daytona International Speedway
Daytona International Speedway is a state-of-the-art motorsports facility and was awarded the SportsBusiness Journal’s prestigious Sports Business Award for Sports Facility of the Year in 2016. Daytona International Speedway is the home of The Great American Race – the DAYTONA 500. In addition to at least nine major event weekends, the Speedway grounds are also used extensively for events that include concerts, civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
