Disability Assistance Carts

A fleet of golf carts operates during major event days to assist disabled guests, free of charge, to destinations throughout the property. Once parked, visit an ADA Cart Shuttle Stop (marked with an "S" on the Transportation Map or Facility Map). During peak times, cart use is restricted to the disabled guest and one companion to ensure timely service for all. Carts may not be operational immediately after the event due to high pedestrian volume; staff will determine when it is safe to resume operations.

Disability Services

Assistance Golf Carts

A fleet of golf carts is available during major event days to assist disabled guests, free of charge, to destinations throughout the property. Once parked, guests may visit any ADA Cart Shuttle Stop location, identified with an "S" on the Transportation Map.

Carts operate on a dedicated route across the Speedway's Frontstretch, similar to a city bus route, stopping only at marked "S" locations. Lot 1 and Lot 4 ADA accessible parking areas have dedicated carts that will transport guests to the nearest shuttle stop, where transfers to other Frontstretch destinations are available.

Guests should expect delays at peak pedestrian times. Cart use is restricted to the disabled guest and one companion or family member at peak times to ensure service for everyone. For safety, carts may be temporarily suspended immediately after the race due to high pedestrian traffic.

Elevators & Escalators

All frontstretch seating areas at Daytona International Speedway are accessible via escalators and elevators. Guests should expect delays at peak times. Elevator use is restricted to the disabled guest and one companion or family member at peak times.

Wheelchairs & ECVs

Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs or electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) for personal mobility throughout the property and into the stadium. An ECV is defined as a single-person, commercially manufactured electric vehicle (examples include HoverRound, Jazzy, Rascal, Scoot, and similar brands).

Guests who have a wheelchair or ECV but are not purchasing a wheelchair seat opening should still bring their unit for mobility assistance across our large facility and during long event days.

Checking your wheelchair or ECV: Guests using their unit only for access to the stadium concourse, and not for viewing the event, may check the unit at a Guest Services Booth and receive a claim tag for later retrieval. Guest Services Booths are located on each concourse level near the elevators.

Reminders

Law Enforcement Checks

A valid state-issued accessible parking placard, sticker, or license plate is required to park in designated accessible areas. By state law, the person the pass was issued to must be present in the vehicle. Law Enforcement Officers will perform checks to verify this. Violation may result in confiscation of the placard.

Cars & Light Trucks Only

Accessible parking areas are designated for cars and light trucks (including pickup trucks and vans) only. Oversized vehicles such as RVs are not permitted and will be directed to alternate areas.

Arrive Early

The size of our events and traffic patterns may impact your parking location. Accessible lots fill quickly, so guests with disabilities are strongly advised to arrive early on race days. Check our Parking page for lot opening times.

Service Animals

Daytona International Speedway recognizes the importance of service animals in assisting guests with visual and other impairments. Service animals are welcomed throughout the property.

Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Tasks performed must be directly related to the person's disability.

The ADA requires that service animals remain under the control of the handler at all times. The service animal must be leashed, harnessed, or tethered unless these would interfere with the tasks the animal is trained to perform.

Guests are responsible for caring for and supervising the service animal, including toileting (guests must bring their own pet waste disposal bags), feeding, grooming, and veterinary care.

Not considered service animals under the ADA

Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals that provide comfort simply by being with a person do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Removal policy

If a service animal poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others, has a history of such behavior, or is not under the handler's control, the animal may be excluded from the facility.

Seating accommodation

Guests who bring service animals may request wheelchair seating to comfortably and safely accommodate their animal during the event.
