- STEMWERX Returns to Scout Days for a 5th Year
-
- STEMWERX is a mobile education lab that uses motorsports as a backdrop for learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Since 2019, STEMWERX has brought STEM learning to kindergarten through 12th graders at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. STEMWERX teaches students robotics programming, the physics of racing, and Aerodynamics, the science of flight.
- The “STEMWERX Live” Team simulates racing aerodynamics with their educational wind tunnel. Students learn how drivers rely on downforce and the smooth aerodynamics of NASCAR’s next-gen car to accelerate into the winner’s circle. Students also learn to program robot cars to navigate through a tunnel and pull into the pits.
